
Eric Miller
He was ordained as a Deacon on September 13, 2017, and as a Priest on September 26, 2018.
The Rev. Fr. Eric A. A. Miller was raised by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Amy Miller, from the tender age of three. His spiritual journey began at St. Agnes Anglican Church, where he was involved in various church groups such as the Prayer Band, Youth Choir, Serving Guild, and Anglican Young Adults. On a diocesan level, he actively participated in the Cursillo Movement, the Diocesan Youth Department, and the Guild of Vocation.
Fr. Miller’s academic journey began in 2013 when, after earning an Associate Degree from The College of The Bahamas, he was sent by the Diocesan Bishop, The Right Rev. Laish Boyd Sr., to test his vocation at Codrington College Seminary (University of the West Indies) in Barbados. He completed his studies in 2017, earning a Bachelor of Theology with Upper Second-Class Honors and a Diploma of Pastoral Studies.
On September 13, 2017, the Feast of St. Cyprian, Martyr, Fr. Miller was ordained to the Order of Deacons at St. Agnes Anglican Church in Nassau, Bahamas. His first assignment was as Assistant Curate at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Nassau, where he served until August 2018. The following month, he was appointed Assistant Curate at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Exuma, Bahamas. There, he also served as Administrator, Chaplain, and Family Life teacher at St. Andrews Anglican School.
Fr. Miller was ordained to the sacred Order of Priests on September 26, 2018, the Feast of St. Lancelot Andrews, at Christ Church Cathedral. His pastoral journey continued when he was assigned as Priest in Charge of St. Saviour’s, Cat Island, Bahamas, where he served until July 2019. He currently serves as Assistant Curate at Christ Church Cathedral, Nassau, Bahamas.
Fr. Miller is married to Magistrate Ian-Marie Darville-Miller, and together they continue their shared journey of faith and service to their community and the church.
