The Right Reverend Laish Z. Boyd Sr., Bishop of the Diocese, is pleased to announce several new appointments within the Anglican Diocese of The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands, effective September 2024.
Appointments Effective September 1, 2024

- Father Scott Brennen has been appointed as the Rector of Saint Ambrose Anglican Church. Father Brennen and his family return to the diocese with a renewed commitment to serving the parish community. We warmly welcome them back.
- Canon S. Sebastian Campbell will serve as the Priest-in-Charge of Saint Augustine’s Parish, San Salvador.
- Father Jude Edomwonyi will assume the role of Hospital Chaplain, providing spiritual care to those in need.
- The Reverend Dr. Ethan Ferguson will take up his new post as Rector of Holy Cross Anglican Church. He and his family return to the diocese, bringing with them his extensive experience and spiritual leadership. We are delighted to welcome them back to our community.

- Father Lynden Douglas will become the Rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Pinder’s Point, Grand Bahama.
Following their recent ordinations to the diaconate:

- Deacon Anatol Ferguson has been appointed Assistant Curate at Christ the King, Ridgeland Park, Nassau, The Bahamas.
- Deacon Tristan Lockhart will serve as the Assistant Curate of St. Andrew’s Parish, Exuma.
These appointments reflect the Diocese’s ongoing commitment to serving the spiritual needs of its congregants and communities. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of these dedicated clergy members and pray for their continued growth and success in their new ministries. The Diocese also offers a special welcome back to Father Scott Brennen and The Reverend Dr. Ethan Ferguson as they return to us in these new capacities.
