Canon Lamuel Been Laid to Rest in Grand Turk
The Rt. Rev’d Laish Z. Boyd, Bishop of the Diocese of The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands, is pleased to announce the installation of two new Canons of the Cathedral Chapter.
On Tuesday, 24th June, at 7:00 p.m., during a Solemn Pontifical Concelebrated Eucharist at Christ Church Cathedral, Fr. John Kabiga will be installed into the Stall of St. Augustine of Hippo, and Fr. Andrew Toppin will be installed into the Stall of St. Patrick. These stalls were previously held by Canons Sebastian Campbell and Peter Scott, respectively.
This occasion will take place on the Feast Day of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, Patron of our Diocese, making it a moment of deep spiritual and communal significance.
All are warmly invited to attend this special celebration in the life of our Church as we give thanks for the ministries of these two faithful priests. Your presence and your prayers are earnestly requested.
