Bishop Boyd Issues Charge to the 122nd Session of the Diocesan Synod
The Bahamas to Host 42nd Triennial Provincial Synod of the Church in the Province of the West Indies
The Anglican Diocese of The Bahamas and The Turks & Caicos Islands extends the schedule of final rites for the late Archbishop Drexel Wellington Gomez, former Bishop of Barbados, former Bishop of the Diocese of The Bahamas & The Turks and Caicos Islands, and former Archbishop of the Province of the West Indies.
Faithful across the Diocese and Province are invited to join the family, clergy, dignitaries, and friends in thanksgiving for Archbishop Gomez’s exemplary episcopal ministry and leadership within the Church in the Province of the West Indies.

- 8:00 a.m. — Arrival of the body of Archbishop Drexel Wellington Gomez
St. Agnes Church, Baillou Hill Road - 8:30 a.m. — Family Viewing and Receiving of Dignitaries
- 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. — Public Viewing
- 6:00 p.m. — Sung Eucharist
- 8:00 p.m.–Midnight — Hourly Celebrations of the Holy Eucharist
Thursday, 6 November 2025 — New Providence
- Midnight–6:00 a.m. — Hourly Celebrations of the Holy Eucharist (continuing)
- 11:00 a.m. — Pontifical Concelebrated Eucharist of Thanksgiving and State-Recognized Funeral
